About me
Hi, I’m Kathleen. I’m an Exercise Scientist, Clinical Pilates Specialist and Nutritionist who teaches classes in the Glasgow area.
After an exhilarating but exhausting 25 year career as a Fitness Professional, I was forced to re-evaluate my options with the onset of lockdown. Despite my best efforts to stay fit and active, I emerged feeling stiff and out of shape. So I started teaching Pilates, having qualified some years previously, but I found the style restrictive and uninspiring and wanted to offer my clients more.
Then I discovered an organisation with a more unconventional approach and was instantly attracted to their training philosophy, based on sound scientific principles and the concept of free and fearless movement. So I signed up for their world class Clinical Pilates Diploma and I’ve never looked back! My own practice has improved radically and my clients love this revolutionary approach, as evidenced by the popularity of my classes.
But my areas of expertise extend beyond classes and having run a small sports therapy clinic and experienced my own fair share of injuries, I understood the importance of effective rehabilitation. My online clinical classes and workshops will help people with musculoskeletal pain or injuries get back to doing the things they love using the power of Pilates, modern exercise medicine and cutting edge nutrition.
